Sokhan Concise Dictionary (Persian to Persian)
The “Sokhan Concise Dictionary” is an abridged version of the eight-volume Sokhan Dictionary, known as the “Sokhan Grand Dictionary.”
This work was compiled under the supervision of Dr. Hassan Anvari, with the collaboration of more than one hundred consultants, authors, editors, illustrators, and translators over eight years of dedicated effort.
The purpose of abridging this dictionary is to make it available to those who, for any reason, do not have access to the Sokhan Grand Dictionary, or who find its size unsuitable for their small library, and who, at the same time, do not require fully documented entries. For such users, a smaller dictionary meets their needs.

Sokhan Contemporary Dictionary (Persian to Persian)
The Farhang-e Rouz-e Sokhan (Sokhan Contemporary Dictionary) is one of the most recent Persian language dictionaries, compiled under the supervision of Dr. Hassan Anvari in a single volume. This dictionary is an abridged version of the two main editions of the Sokhan Dictionary: the large edition (Farhang-e Bozorg) in eight volumes and the compact edition (Farhang-e Feshordeh) in two volumes.
Unlike the two main editions, Farhang-e Rouz-e Sokhan does not include archaic words; instead, it focuses on contemporary vocabulary and expressions used in modern Persian. The number of scientific terms in this edition is also smaller compared to the two earlier versions.
This dictionary was compiled and published by Sokhan Publishing House. In addition to the chief editor, Dr. Hassan Anvari, the project involved the collaboration of 46 authors and 21 editors across general and specialized fields.
