Course Description

In recent months, Isfahan has been bombed by the US and Israel. These attacks have resulted in the destruction and damage of several priceless historical landmarks. These attacks have once again underscored the city's profound global significance. In response, we have developed a course designed to highlight Isfahan's pivotal role in Iranian, regional, and global cultural contexts. The course curriculum consists of twelve sessions. In each session, we will examine and analyze a Persian primary source referencing Isfahan to study its importance concerning the city's history, culture, and architecture. Participation in this course is open to the public and free of charge.
