Intended for intermediate students, the Persian through News Websites Course is designed to strengthen learners’ reading, listening, and speaking skills by engaging with authentic yet accessible online news. Using simplified Persian news articles and multimedia content, students will build vocabulary related to current events, politics, society, and culture, while also improving comprehension of journalistic style and structure. Course content focuses on reading, summarizing, and discussing news stories by practicing strategies for identifying main ideas, context clues, and key details. Learners will also compare different types of media coverage, fostering both linguistic growth and critical thinking. By the end of the course, participants will be able to follow news reports in Persian with greater confidence, express informed opinions on current issues, and connect language learning with real-world topics.

Time: 9:00–10:00 AM (US Pacific), 12:00–1:00 PM (US Eastern), 6:00–7:00 PM (Central European)
Format: 12 online sessions
Tuition: $300 (payable in installments)
